OT: 3 Very Cool 16th & 17th Century New Purchases (1564-94, 1651 and 1666) -- Tales from the Dar

Ok I'll admit it, I have been smitten with the urge to purchase a few darkside coins recently, and although I thought that I'd share them with some of my U.S. Coin forum friends because they are so very cool. I hope that others will allow me this digression from my typical PL Morgan Dollar and Type Coin posts.

I have provided links to the World & Ancient Coin Forum threads for your convenience, and to stimulate some discussion about them there.
I am very excited about tonight's 2nd coin purchase, this very image 16th Century 1564-94 Austria Hall Taler in NGC AU-58, which now has the honor of being the oldest coin in my collection.
