One of the nicest looking 1921 Peace dollars I've seen, but it narrowly escaped me!

Mike Printz had this one up, and within moment, it's gone. Some lucky dude bought it. IMO, this one blows away many many gem Peace dollars out there.

<< <i>ER: I agree with you that the coin has great luster and toning for a 1921 Peace Dollar. The slightly weak strike in the hair area over Miss Liberty's ear probably kept it from making MS-65. >>
This is better struck in that area than plenty I have seen in higher holders.
Sorry you missed out on pulling the trigger on that one ER.
<< <i>I don't understand why it's in an MS64 holder, do you? >>
Notwithstanding that it's a nice coin for the assigned grade, MP takes fabulous pictures so the coin's positive attributes are amplified while some of its grade limiting attributes are somewhat muted.
After much experience, I've learned that is now very difficult for me to fall in love with a coin's picture prior to seeing the coin in hand first.
<< <i>isn't "nice looking Peace dollar " an oxymoron? >>
Hey! you take that back
