OT: More eBay changes

I received an error while trying to schedule a COIN auction listing today. The error stated I can't use various HTML statements in my listing. This is a good thing in my opinion. Nobody wants cookies or other potentially mischievous things in eBay auctions.
My error was for the use of Javascript. Well I didn't think I was using Javascript. It turns out I was using a PayPal Smart Logo. It changes from a PayPal accepted logo to a Pay Now logo after the auction ends. This code was copied directly from the PayPal website. It contains Javascript so I had to replace it with a regular logo.

If this gets rid of background music, status bar manipulation, and the infernal crazy mouse pointers, bring it on!
As you know we have both regular size and large size images for people to click on in our listings and I wrote a javascript to do it seamlessly. Well, needless to say if eBay decides no javascript in descriptions I have to completely re-code my description generator and I will have to use a new window if someone wanted to see the large image.
Seems to me like a half-ass way to prevent misuse of javascript in auctions. They could simply code in to prevent the use of certain functions and object properies instead of blocking out javascript entirely.

As if Ebay employs anyone who can write code?
I guess it is an error in the programming. Here is their reply to a query I sent:
