1st time submission - A few questions and help

Hello - I will soon be sending in my batch of cards to receive a grade. Looking at the submission form I am a bit confused and want to make sure I fill it out correctly. That said here are my questions. Any thoughts and insight will be greatly appreciated.

1. Is value of card what Beckett or any other publication has it listed at?
2. How should I send cards (about 15) in a box or bubble mailer?
3. I want to use the May/June special (13 dollars under $500) but the lit states raw cards must be submitted on a separate submission form with their own return shipping - What does this mean?

Hope this makes sense and I welcome your feedback.

Thanks

    1. Typically the value listed should be approximately the SMR value for a PSA 8
    2. Always use a box. Much more secure than a bubble mailer. If I bend your bubble mailer in half [or some friendly postal clerk or machine does the same], you are screwed.
    3. The $13/cards under $500 means that you can only submit under that special for that type of submission. So, for example, if you had a submission under the $5 under $75 special, then that would have to be submitted in a separate submission from your $13/5-day special.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

I agree. I always use PSA 8 as my referent value.

    Just a quick thought.

I think the value you insure on when you ship to them is way more important than your declared value and the insurance you pay for on them shipping it back. They send it out certified mail. Everyone who touches that piece has to sign. Someone will lose their job if a certified mail piece gets damaged or lost because they know who to hold accountable.
