Question about the PO01 Grade at Grading Services

Will PCGS, NGC or ANACS grade a coin PO01, or even slab a coin, if the date is barely legible? Take, for example, an 1885 or 1886 Liberty nickel. Say the 188 is very clear, but the last digit, is only half present, but it is obvious it's a 5 or a 6. Will the services still slab them?
Thanks. Richard.

maybe to it depends on the coin sight seen but it is a better than average possibility for the qanswer to be yes !!

Try putting some Nick-a-date on the date area. It will help the PCGS graders see the date.

Yeah, that will also help the coin hop into a bodybag, too. Cute joke. Thanks all for the reply. That 1877CC dime is something else. Thanks for posting it.
