I used to watch boxing all the time on TV but somewhere along the line I just lost interest. Can't really
pinpoint the reasons why either, it just happened.

Looking for Al Hrabosky and any OPC Dave Campbells (the ESPN guy)
Also used to love Red Wing vs Avalanche hockey but that lost its luster as well.
Watching that classics fight show on ESPN back in the 80s, couldn't get enough old Suger Ray Robinson
Best fight of my time was Hagler and Hearns

Agreed. The level of play in most games is so bad that I can't keep my eyes on it. And I can't stand that ridiculous 3 point line either.
To me, regular season basketball is tired and not worth watching. I really do enjoy watching it when the playoffs kick in - a season in itself. I like the TNT coverage better than anything else. Regards.

I've lost a little bit of interest in Baseball and Basketball. I used to LOVE the old 80's Celtics then I lost interest in the late 90's. Lately though I've been getting into Bkb a little more since I live near Cleveland and Lebron plays here. He draws my interest.
Baseball I can't get into until players stop switching teams every single year. I loved the D-Backs back in the 2001 World Sereis. Within about 3 years, almost every single player was gone. The teams have no loyalty to the players and vice versa. That makes me lose interest each year. I loved seeing Randy Johnson pitch. Now he's a friggin Yankee. Kinda kills the whole part of routing for somebody.
Football is still the s**t and always will be, it's the greatest game on earth, to watch and to play.
<< <i>Wow, hockey is really taking a beating. I grew up a very mind fan but it seems the older I get, the more I watch to watch it. For me, it's growing.

Football (American that is) not that wimpy game they call "football" in other countries where they run
around a field in shorts kicking a ball) is the greatest sport ever invented in the history of mankind.
What else would you expect me to say?
