Where to get?

OK one of the downfalls for this hobby (for me anyway) is getting all of these wonderfull treasures and then socking them away out of sight. I am looking for a nice looking display board for a type set, something to hang on the wall where I can enjoy some of my treasures and not have to go and dig them up everytime I wish to look at them or show family members.

Anyone know where I can get a nice one?

Thanks Rob

You are better off making one. It'll make it a family heirloom as well. Woodworking is not that hard and I think you'll find it much more fullfilling to build something yourself to house your collection.

Great idea, but when you only have 7 fingers to start with you stay away from saws. image

Also if you don't have the tools, it would cost a heck of alot more to make than to buy.

    Anyone else.............?

Wow those are great but they are worth more than my current coins. Maybe in the future.

I guess I am not looking for anything THAT great.

More a picture frame type thing.

How about a Capital Plastic holder LINK

I use Capital Plastics holders for my display coins. I have a Morgan mint set, ASEs, and a set of MS60/AU Franklins, and a half dollar type set hanging on my office wall. These are not high dollar coins that I do this with. Looks nice.

I just thought I would share the display I picked up for $40 to house 18 of my favorite slabs. I had another thread about this awhile ago but the search feature is down.

It is no where as nice as the one solid makes, but I can't spend more on the holder than the coins are worth.

Now I just need to fill it up and buy more lil acrylic easles to display them.

Someday when I graduate into crazy priced coins I will get me a solid case.
