The lower left side edge near #75's rear end looks odd. Is it an uneven cut? Is the upper left corner soft or is that the scan?
  • That is really a great looking style of card. Never seen that year before. I am really starting to like the early football cards. I would hope that you get a 8. Thanks for posting.

There is a slight chip on the left edge and the upper left corner is for sure the weak spot. Upper right is slightly touched and the 2 bottom corners are really strong.

This has a pop of 1 in 8 and no 9's or 10's. Some of these 68's are brutal on centering and this is one that typically is. I know its tough to say from a scan, but could this fetch an 8?

I would think so, although the real pertinent question is whether or not it's more or less guaranteed to fetch a grade that will recoup the grading costs.

Is there paper loss on the chip? If so, that combined with the soft upper left corner would (or should) keep it out of 8 range, imho.

If it gets an 8, I think it could recoop the fees x20. a 7 I think may be close. An 8OC just went for $6.49, and it was pretty bad o/c:
