PSA cert #s of 12345678

I have a few non-traditional cards that were graded Authentic by PSA...but each have the cert number of 12345678. The same cert # is on about 30 cards. The PSA database shows 12345678 as a 1989 Upper Deck Gary Sheffield, but these cards I have are not close to the 89 Upper Deck issue.

I have been told that the cert number of 12345678 was used in the past for authentic cards that did not receive a grade...but that was changed where authentic grades now get their own cert number. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

I'd call customer service and ask. By the way, what are the "non-traditional" cards you have? Can you post scans?

I have emailed PSA...hopefully they will respond.

Here are two scans 1933 Goudey Copyright Registration cards. That's what I mean by non-traditional. One of them has a cert number of 12345678, the other has its own individual cert number.
