Darn it! I just can't capture it... HELP?

This coin is pissing me off.
1/4 Farthing, 1839. PCGS MS64 RB.
First, my original pictures. While decent enough presentation, they absolutely do NOT capture the color of the toning.

Try as I might, the only way I can even come close to the true color of the coin is to shoot it through the glare of a swing-arm lamp. These pics get the color much closer to coin in hand, but are washed out and muddy. The toning on this piece is actually quite stunning.
How do I capture the color while maintaining a crisp presentation?

Try lighting from each side to reduce glare from the bulb, and also they angeled glass technique....
