Thank You PSA--->I'm Impressed..

I had bought a PSA9 Emmitt Smith Burger King-->discovered it was counterfiet. I sent it in to PSA for review 10 days ago. Well, today I recieved a check today to cover my losses. It is very refreshing to have recieved such outstanding customer service.

Also, Thank you Duner for pointing me in the right direction!

    What was different about the card that you knew it was counterfeit? I'd like to know for future reference if I find any for sale.

    I'd never known about the card being counterfit if I had not read an article in the June 2005 issue of Beckett Football. There are actually two counterfit copies of the card. The most common card is actually missing the Burger King logo on the front. The second copy (the one I bought) has the logo but is missing the registered "r" symbol next to the logo--->very easy to miss if you buy online and the scan is not clear. I was surprised that PSA missed it when they graded the card the first time around but they were very quick to remedy the situation when I contacted them. Things turned out well in my case.

    PSA doesn't hesitate to take out their checkbook if the circumstances dictate it's the proper course of action. They're the only grading company willing to do that and it means a lot. I've had cards bought back due to errors and there's never a hassle. I'm not a huge fan of their grading, but you have to give credit where it is deserved.

    Wow is right. Just looked at Ebay auctions on a PSA 10 and a PSA 9, both without the logo.
    Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?
