arrived today. Lots of droolers!
The signature auction is "The Whittier Collection of Latin American Coins", over 1600 lots. Some really nice type pieces.
There's about 200 lots of greyside, about 25% is Newfie.
About 300 lots of Great Britain including some gilt proof GIII 1/2d + 1d's.
And over 300 lots from Russia, "The St. Petersburg Collection", including one of those giant copper Novodel Roubles of 1771 mentioned in another thread. The thing is 77mm diameter x 26mm thick and weighs 1041gms, but not a nice as the Goldberg piece. Est is $20,000-$25,000
