Is the 95w silver eagle an eBay scammer's favorite?

I can't believe how many 2004 proof platinum set autions end up with the seller NARUd a couple of days after the auction ends, like this one: Sold! See ya, sucker...

There's maybe three sellers at this point I'd buy the coins from on eBay-- I've seen way too many people burnt.

I was wondering, is that $5,000 key date silver proof eagle just as risky to buy on eBay? Do you see a lot of "BIN for $4200!"s on these, only to have the seller disappear?

It's somewhat risky. Another thing to watch for is sellers claiming spot free PR69 ASE's especially the 1995W. They are problem coins and should be taken care of but someone will have to do it at a loss.
