  • The lengthy story makes interesting reading. More will still pop up as the investigation deepens.
The Laws pertaining to ARCHIVED material !
I have in the last 5 years seen two Countries selling off partial or specific section being put into the market.
One was fairly big of issues of about thrty years ago and authorities to the top level actually encouraged this for reasons of their own.
Another specialized early period material was under great discussion but as these were rarities one can only wonder what went into someones collection bypassing the market.

I would like to know if there is normally a general rule about ARCHIVED material of Heritage value.
Similat to genuine artifacts of Ancient Egypt not allowed to be exported elsewhere.
In other words, most Countries would have some protection of its ARCHIVED, HERITAGE related material.
Perhaps somebody could give more insight to the pros & cons.
If trade of such material gets so bad a new look at certification of such items may become necessary.

Anyone out there who can enlighten further on this?
