Anyone buying the chase to 715 Topps store exclusives?

Just logged on to the train wreck of what's left at Etopps and saw the 'chase to 715' cards they are selling via http://www.etopps.com/store/ Apparently Topps has been issuing each indivdual card for sale once he hits a home run. Anyone here been ordering?
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

nope... I suppose some people are though, some will be fairly limited (3 day min sale-time, but they get stopped as soon as he hits the next HR). I suppose #714 and #715 will be desirable to some collectors...just not me.

I have to agree with you on ETopps; it is a complete train wreck. The "current events" cards were a terrible idea, the gambling portion of the site was a terrible idea not to mention numerous other decisions they made. Plus you have to sell those crappy cards that are "worth" .40 on ebay and pay listing and final value fees and even paypal. What a great deal. Now you've paid $1 to give away a card you've never even held in your hand...marketing genius.
  • ETopps? I'd rather buy crack.

Never again, I bought about $100 worth of stuff that's worth about $5 now.
    Always buying 1984 Ralston Purina PSA 9s and 10s I NEED 19,21, and 29!!!
  • Actually, these chase to 715 cards aren't etopps--they are just sold through the Etopps website.
