I hit a local park and had 40 cents in clad for my trouble. I was thinking of packin it in when I hit the '48 rosie. That renewed my drive and a bit later I started turning up Wheatie and an old Canadian cent all in a small area. Then out pops the '39 Merc. Made my day. The wheaties were 191?, 1927 & a bunch of '40s.
The small sterling cross was from a different park a couple days earlier.
