PSA would give it a MC qualifier. ( Top to Bottom ), plus its OC left to right.

Why the MC qualifier? I see the l/r but for the price I'm not one to complain.

I may be wrong, but it looks there is a portion of the border of another card on the left side (two different woodgrains). That would probably warrant the MC qualifier. image

Actually - it will likely not get an MC.

The scan I have is too large to upload, but PSA recently graded a #222 Russ Kemmerer as PSA 9 MINT, no qualifiers, with the same type of border. Since there is ample border on both the left and right of the card, it will not get an MC.

Well thats sweet. I won't be breaking this card out or crossing over, I do like the clean look of the SGC covers.

It appears part of the "TV contol panel" is cropped off on the bottom, making it perhaps MC??? ....................but I would believe anything that
mikeschmidt has to say as he is the resident expert on 55 Bowmans.

Oh, I would just have to crack it and cut that piece off. image

It actually doesn't look too bad.

    Any wrinkles or surface problems?

Well, I literally won this last night in an auction so I don't have it in hand yet. Hopefully I will by the end of the week though.

No, it is all there, although it is most definitely o/c from top to bottom. Sorry, my initial response was in reference to the left/right centering, and the different color border.

The lighter wood cards are commonly found with the "two-tone" wood grain where the switch from light to dark grain on the first 80 cards isn't cut right down the line. The narrow bottom border is a common problem, though. Not much room to work with on that axis in this design.
