Taking up 8 consecutive headers is just rude

Am I the only that thinks listing 8 straight different things on the buy sell trade board is rude? Especially when many of the titles could be combined. I thought Carol posted that this was not allowed and people needed to combine more items in their titles.

  • I never notice it, until I read your post.

    No problem here.

    Thanks,

The reason I listed them as seperate headings is because when other collectors use the search tool looking for certain issues they will get a match -you wont get that by listing them as one heading under a generic term like "wanted baseball cards"
So I hope you dont still think I am "rude", maybe know you think I am"smart" for listing the cards/issues I collect seperately.

No you are not smart, because smart collectors will use the search title and subject option if they are really interested in finding something. All you are doing is ticking off potential traders/sellers. Cause we all know a couple days from now you will just TTT all your posts and bring them all back to the top, pushing everyone elses down.

Hey man, I am not trying to "tick"anyone off and I have no idea what TTT means-all I did was list the set/issues that I currently collect under seperate headings so collectors who search for "1963 fleer" will find me-Isn t that what this forum is about-buying,selling and trading sports cards -also is space a issue on this site? If it is I apologize. Scott

I'm OK with it..especially if you've got good material. Just don't do it all the time.

Please be aware that the search function can be used for "Title and Body", so if is someone doing a search the smart way, they will search "titles and body" and thus they will find your various wantlists even if combined into one thread. I'd suggest a title like "Wantlist--1960's Baseball issues", and then in the body you would have the specific lists which someone doing a proper search would find. Carol did ask in the past that people not start multiple threads that could/should be combined into one thread.
Please don't "bogart" the front page.image
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.
