What ever happened to .....?

Where did rbdjr1 go? He started listing all his OPC cards for sale on Ebay? I miss his daily posts showing what he had won on Ebay.

    I don't know, haven't heard from him.

I often wonder about guys like jrdolan as well. What happened to him?

At least Stone had the courtesy to let us know he was leaving for awhile. Some guys just up and vanish like a fart in the wind and you have no idea why. Some of you guys I feel like I personally know, sucks when you disappear for awhile.

I agree that Stone did the right thing in telling us that he will be gone for awhile.

I guess some posters do not really know how much they are appreciated and when the need to disappear for awhile, they figure they won't be missed. The anonymity of the message board creates this barrier. No one you know in person will do this kind of disappearing act.

I learned my lesson when I was gone on a two month vacation in Europe. When I came back and announced it, I got many private messages happy to see me and wondering what happened. I will not do that again. I will announce next time.

Another guy that has been MIA for a bit is Jeff (mudflap02) - anyone hear from him?

  • Has anybody checked the SGC and GAI message boards?

The Jr. Michael Jackson Fan Club gets more posts than the SGC board, and I don't think it's the right Monday for the GAI boards to be up yet (I don't even see a link up for one anymore. Heck, my piddling site that no one goes to was important enough for me to set up a message board on it!).

No kidding, Jeff has all but disappearred. Puts up around Heritage time and then vanishes.

Now who's going to do the next haiku?

    Members will appear

And then they will go away

    Isn't cardboard fun?

    How's that?
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

That's good Paul. At least you got it right. I remember in the first thread there were several guys who couldn't figure it out, no matter how much help they got. Pandrews making fun of them had me on the floor laughing if I recall.

Here's hoping all the guys are just on break and A-okay!!

I thought that CON40 had been bammed for what was said, but I see him on once in a great while. He was/is a good poster on the boards.
  • I was bidding on some of rbdjr1's OPC cards, and right before they ended, he cancelled the auctions??? I guess he did not want to let his 1977 PSA 10's go for $9.00 each. I e-mailed him and he told me that he would be willing to let a fellow board member make an offer on the cards. I never heard back from him.
