    I have never seen a 1948 Dollar with that much wear. Very expensive pocket piece if it was one.

    It does have a very even wear.
    I would never be able to keep a pocket piece that long without losing it.

  • I had seen one before with the similar grade. Th very low grade 1948 dollar are actually "harder" to find than the ones at EF+.

    Yea, verily. I'd like to see the coin in hand to see if the wear looks natural or "induced." Artificial wear is a great way to cover up counterfeit tip-offs (e.g. pitted surfaces).
