1961 Topps, Diamond cut common?

Hello,

I just picked up this card and to me it looks slightly "diamond-cut." Would any of you agree? Is this common for '61s? Is this a nice 8? I was pleased with it when I bid, but I am also really picky. I hope that I am happy with it once I receive it.

    Definately looks like a diamond cut to me. I am confused though, if you think it had a diamond cut and you were thinking you might not be happy with it, then why bid? If you can live with a little diamond cut no big deal.

    As bad as it sounds I am nearing the finish line for my Colavito Basic set and I got anxious! I personally think it looks like a steller card, and that I'll be really happy with it once I get my mits on it.

    I have had PSA 9s from 67 that had a slight diamond cut, certain cards seem prone to that, especially in 67.

    Thanks for the insight Kirk. I was looking at all the other registered sets for Colavito and all were diamond cut. That's interesting how some are more prone to that than others.
