It's like a seal of approval, meaning a very choice coin.

No, it is an independent grading opinion from Eagle Eye, confirming that they agree with the grading company's grade and accompanied by a plastic image of the coin.

Edited to add: Here is a link to the information, but next time please do your own (easy) search.imagelink

This has cost us thousands of dollars in lost potential profits, but it has made out clients very happy.

You've got to chuckle at statements like this. Come on, Rick. Are you in business to make money or are you in business to make friends?

I sat down with Rick at the CSNS lately for about an hour and talked IHCs and I came away impressed! Not one time did he try to sell me anything. He even borrowed a coin from another dealer to show me. He told me about photo seal, his buy back and upgrade policy, what I should stay away from...ect. He even took coins out of his case for me to handle (one was $85,000).

My first impression is that he runs his business in a very professional manner and he wants both the seller and buyer to be happy. He will be hearing from me.

how can the opinion of an acknowledged expert in a narrow field of specialty be anything but good?? i doubt that any grader at any grading service is more competent at grading FE's and/or IHC's, and i also doubt any of those same graders would dispute that. i'll take that kind of hype and marketing over the professional opinion every day of the week.

been hammered in the recent past by PCGS, so i'll stand with my first post. affairs out west aren't currently in the best state. when a "Service Level" can influence what happens in the grading room, well..............................
