With that offer I hope it is your last
I've tried a few times with my list here and this is pretty much the response. People here imagine commons to really be worth their book value

At those prices...if you have people selling to you...GREAT....there are alot of fools out there...
Let's see...100 Bagwells....$5.00....then I have to ship them....let see...plastics..sleeves...$3.00 postage...heck I can retire in no time.....
ok...even if I took 3 hours of my time to dig through....2 mil singles...I come up with 2-3K cards for you..EASILY....at $30-$50 a thousand....then shipping....even at flat rate prices...it just isn't worth anyone's time.
Heck...we all have dealers in various parts of the country that we wholesale to...I can get 50 cents for any Arod or Jeter that I send to NY...not 17 cents...
I'm in MA....any Manny here goes 25 cents low...to a buck each.....
and Pujols....gimme a break...I can't keep ANY on the store shelves at close to book price...
It's not that we think our stuff is priceless....it's that we are an educated croud...stick to Beckett and the kids over there!!
I'd rather see them go to kids than some BS artist...
<< <i>you can donate to charity and claim 5 cents a card (if not more) and include the shipping......

Hi there. No offense, but I do a similar thing to this angels75 guy. Sometimes I pay shipping if it's a large lot. But regardless, I don't know about angels75 but I work for a ministry and buy these card in bulk and resell on Ebay. Make about 2x on average. The money is used to help support our ministry. So, it's not always a bunch of people just working to screw others over. I guess I took offense to the "BS artist" comment.
And please tell me who will buy any Manny for 25 cents, and any A-Rod for 50 cents. I have a few thousand cards I would like to sell them.

And for the record, there a NUMEROUS people paying those prices for players...
I live in MA..and sell to dealers all over...one in Oaklans takes all San Fran players and inserts...also Oakland...another in LA takes Angels and Dodgers...along with Lakers...
If you're doing for your ministries....then you are amoung the very few that run that type of add and aren't a BS artist...to you, I will apologize!!
Everyone else...my comments stand...
I travel to MD as well...as we have family in DC and Ocean City....I always bring boxes with me and horse trade so to speak with local store owners and dealers at local shows.
I went to the midwest for a funeral..along the way we stopped in Chicago...I picked up the local phone book and wrote some numbers down..bought the local paper...who knows..I have $25K in Jordans, maybe I'll run an add there....or run an add to buy there..
It's about thinking on your own, not sitting behind a computer saying, who's buying this and who's buying that at those prices....it's about getting out and making it happen.
WE have all see and heard of the guy that says, "I sold this card for $xx.xx dollars"...and we all say..yah right...who would do that..
I sell modern inserts to other dealers at shows and see people walk up and drop huge dollars on cards that I just sold these guys at a fraction of book.
BUT, who cares...I sold at a price that I made my $$ and was happy with....and this guy will come back again and again to buy other lots from me...
It's about location and networking...plain and simple...
