What do you think of the weighting of the 1968-date mint set?

Link.

It seems the 73-p Ike has the highest weight. All the Lincolns are weight 1. The weighting seems to go along with what would be toughest for a BU ms60 set, not a gem set. As much as pcgs would like people to collect ms60 moderns in pcgs slabs, it's not what people collect.

Funny they give less weight to most of the dimes compared to the Roosie set, except for the 82 no P. Does that mean if you build this set they will be easier to come by than when doing the dime set????

The 82 no P shouldn't even be part of the set. It's a variety. I'm not going to own one.

Very interesting. The weighting has far more to do with pricing than with difficulty in finding them.

    Is this a new set?

It's been there for a year. The weighting is new though. And by pricing you mean pricing in BU, not by pricing in pcgs ms65-ms67.

    Thanks.

Not necessarily MS-60. Some are MS-64, some MS-60, but not high grade.
