1974-D PCGS MS66FB POP = (5/1) or,
1974-D PCGS MS68 POP = (2/0)
Both weigh the same.

I admit I have the 66FB, and I'm a FB lover. But if I had a 74-D in 68 I would also be happy. Like Rick, I would love to have a 100% fb set, so I guess I'll go the 66FB, but only for that reason. I admit I own some 68 non bands, but did sell some off a while back. I also have a few from the 60's / 70's that should make 68.
Once my set is finished, I'll be submitting those for sure. With the exception of the 67's, I'm tired of spending money trying to get MS grades on the 65/66/67 clads.
You know your not getting the 67FB since its in JHF's set. The 66FB will always be valued higher then the 68. If
you get the opportunity to trade out of the 68 for the 66FB jump on it.....and NO I will not trade your 68 for my
66FB......

I laughed out load on this statement! Nick are you a Gypsy with a magic ball, or a telepathic mindreader from Startrek? You did boldly go where no man has gone before!

Anyone interested in a 3 way deal?
I will sell my '74-D MS68 for what Nick is asking for his '74-D MS66FB, $235. All they have to do is sendthe $$$ to Nick, he will send me the 6FB and I will send my 68 to the buyer.
I will pay for ALL shipping to you, and Nick. Everyone wins!
Ya can't lose!

and who knows when another will become available. If a deal is going to be cut it better be
quick.
I myself think the chances of another MS68 coming along would be better than another 66/67 in FB. As the bands in the 70's tend to be flat even when going all the way across.
Flipside is how many MS68 FB's during this period = 0
Next how many MS 67 FB's = 28
And now for the 66FB's = 98
The only thing this tells us for sure, is that near mark free coins are very hard to come by for this 10 year period.
That near mark free MS 68 FB's have yet to show up. And the 67 FB's divided among the ten years is also a rare bird.
Even the 66 FB's are mostly found in 71-D/19 72-D/10 73-D/19 75-D/15
Just a few fun facts from the 70's era.
