My order arrived at PSA Friday...

It was clearly marked on the outside of the box and it still has not been entered into the system. Those should count as days.

My Feb submission was signed for by PSA on March 2nd. It was finally entered into the system on March 10th, yes, 8 days. BTW I am still waiting for it to be graded. Every time I call I get a different sob story, we've been busy, were on a trip, it may be some holiday...etc...

Keep on them. I had an order that took days to get entered. One guy said that they were working over the weekend to catch up. Turned out it that was bull. The real reason was it was in the trouble pile. I thought I was clear. I had only a four card submission. I put and extra Card Saver I on top and bottom of the stack. In each of these Card Holders I had one 1983 card with DO NOT GRADE THOW AWAY in black sharpie. They did not know what to do so it went to the trouble pile. It took three calls. After about a week they figured it out. It was in the trouble stack. I had to send an e-mail stating that they could throw the cards that had throw away on them. I learned my lesson.

Well, grades have finally arrived. I owe a big thank you to David Lin (ext 127) for getting things going there. It only took 24 hours for the grades to come after David got on the case. Thanks Daivd.

You might want to call and make sure they are not in the problem area. If there was a problem with your submission, the clock might not start until resolved.

So there was a problem and the e-mail went to my junk folder. It said to call.

I called and the guy said I miscalculated shipping and is it OK to charge me. I said yes. He said I was supposed to e-mail the person back and tell them. I said, the e-mail said to call. He was a jerk about it too. He said they need it in writing.

I e-mail the person back and get an "out-of-office until 5/9" response. I call back all within 2-3 minutes of originally calling. They are closed now. So I have no idea where this is at now. I hate poor customer service. All of the people there who answer phones should take a "How to Be Nice to People," class.

Let's all pledge to get the name of any customer service rep. who gives us "lip service" or is rude and post it to the board. That would likely be the best way to get PSA to weed out the weak links.

Maybe the "nice" Mexican folks who were usually answering the phones that day were out marching down the streets of Newport Beach.
One way or another Zef, those Mexicans are going to get you. image

Classic story of "customer service" in modern times. Sad!

The cowards usually don't even give me their name. When I ask, it's usually mumbled.

I agree. When they do give their name when they answer the phone, I know that they are likely to be more helpful.

I screwed up my submission form once and my approval over the phone was all they needed to bill me for the additional amount.

So I called this morning and talked to someone else. She told me to forward the e-mail to her with my consent. I did and it still has not been entered.

Ask for Sonia and leave a message on her machine. She will get back to you and it will get resolved, one of the best PSA has working for them. My last submission was held 3 days because of a voucher that turned out to be 3.00 in their favor.
BTW I think we are a little harsh on the customer service people at PSA and I am guilty of it also. If you were fielding 100 calls an hour about submission status from impatient people like me you wouldn't be all that friendly either. I am very surprised that PSA allows these type of phone callls about submission staus ? I would bet it will go away soon and the only calls they will field are question about cards that are going to submitted or if there is a problem with an order and you get an email from them first.

I will try that when they open.

I have talked now to 4 different people there and e-mailed my consent to 3 that asked me to do so. It still has not been entered into the system. Something is fundamentally wrong with the customer service over there.

Don't forget today is probably a 'non-business' day. The Ft. Washington show is this weekend and they will have a booth there.

It just got entered. It only took a week.

I've had problem orders twice, and both times I was able to get the issue resolved on the phone, including the identical scenario where I miscalculated shipping. I was never told that they needed my approval in writing.

Oddly, I just noticed that I forgot to send in my voucher on my last order, but they graded the cards anyway. I guess they can just look that up in my membership file.

Rule 1 - only smoke the creamy white rocks, the dark brown ones cause you to post silly things.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, however Kristen was outstanding to work with and correct my mistake virtually instantly.image
