Anybody bought from CGCO

I bought card in March, emailed repeatedly, he indicated wife and new born had been in hospital. I cut him slack, he indicated he'd get card out. Over 5 weeks now, also see he has received numerous items not received complaints. Before this he had 100% feedback.
Just curious if anybody knows much about the seller.

Thanks in advance.

Peace

  • I have personally never had a deal with this seller. I have in the past, had a few deals with eBay sellers that have taken over a month to receive, I have heard it all, my wife is in the hospital, I was in the hospital, I was on vacation, or my computer crashed. Many of those same sellers who have told me that, all had items up, in some cases, bids on other items, when they were gone for their reason. I have been in the hospital before, I have been on vacation, I have had deaths in my family that required flying, and I know for a fact, nothing takes more than a month to take care of. I have also placed bids with sellers who have had perfect feedback, then all of a sudden, 10 negs popped up for that seller. All I know, if my mom were to pass away, my job will only give me 3 days off to handle things, a week if I bltched about it, my dad passed away in 1990 when I was a freshman in high school, and missing that week of school cost me being in the national honor society for excessive absences. This seller says his wife and child are in the hospital, truthful or not, I would cut the guy slack for a week only, because it only takes 10 mins to stop at a post office to mail something out on the way to a hospital, if seller is really heading to one daily. If it has been over a month, and you still do not have the item, file a dispute and get your money back.

Stay with what is reasonable with a seller ie 10 days and forget the sob stories. Most of them based upon my experience have been hooooooooooooowie !

i bought 4 cards from that bafoon in dec & paid via paypal immediately...
after a few weeks & no cards i contacted him & got some equally lame excuse...
then about a week & a half later my cards arrived!
on top of the poor service, he never left feedback.
personally, i will NEVER do business again with cgco.

You only have 45 days to file "item not received" with ebay and paypal. If it's not too late do it now. If he stalls you past the 45 days you'll end up getting nothing.

Let me add my dad to this guy's list of victims. My poor dad (64 years old) is just figuring out eBay and he buys a card from this guy in early March and he still hasn't got it. My dad contacted him and he received the same story about a premature newborn baby. My dad was reassured that his card was mailed in early April. And still nothing.

I have to say though. This might be a case where something has really gone awry for this seller. His feedback is flawless until the last few weeks.
