Yep. The charge you $100 in order for you to be able to get your cards graded. Its a "membership fee," and you cannot submit cards without being a member.

You could submit them thru an authorised dealer though and psa had or has a program thru ebay that one could use as well.

    Good for you.
  • man, that kind of sucks...its only 2 cards. so im not gonna spend $100 plus additional charges to get them graded. thats kind of ridiculous. anyone know a more affordable way i can get these 2 cards graded?
  • Get them graded by Beckett or SGC. I don't think either require membership fees.

^^ There are plenty of trustworthy people on the boards that would submit them for you, I would think.

Are these certified autos or cards that will need to go the $20 PSA/DNA route?
  • certified autos

With the new special just released, anyone on the boards could add your 2 cards into an order and it would only be $5/card to have them graded. No need to go through autograph authentication since they are certified autos and issued later than 1998.

You can submit them through a psa authorized dealer.

In this way you will not have to pay the 99 fee.
