Card is listed under the 1999 set (1999 PM JAPAN-PRO.WHT.STR) For Ancient Mew II (Promo), the population report is:

    PSA 5 - 1
    PSA 7 - 12
    PSA 8 - 32
    PSA 9 - 1385
PSA 9OC - 2 (of which yours is one)
    PSA 10 - 1538
    Total - 2970

For those of you who are totally lost, we're talking Pokemon.
  • sorry guys im a rookie to all of this, PSA call the card '1998 P.M Japanese Meiji Ancient mew Prism Promo' '31057839' . Not to be confused with the other ancient mew cards which aren't Meiji. Cheers for helping out a noob,

    Mina.
  • When i searched Becketts population report, only the search term '1998 meiji' was fruitful, i'm guessing it may be the same in this case. Any help appreciated.

    Here ya go....
    1998 P.M. Japan.Meiji Prom
    PSA 8 = 1
    PSA 9 = 2
    PSA 9q = 1

So, you've got the only 9 to grade with a qualifer so far.
    My Giants collection want list

WTB: 2001 Leaf Rookies & Stars Longevity: Ryan Jensen #/25
  • Thanks for your help digicat. Am i right in saying that a 'mint 9 + qualifier' is only equivilant to a 'near mint 8'. I was unaware of the conotations of qualifiers concerning value when i bought the card and now feel quite cheated. Thanks again,

    Mina.

Mina, in terms of Set Registry value, a PSA 9 with a qualifier is equivalent to a PSA 7 without a qualifier. As far as dollar value, qualified cards vary in price more than unqualified cards, so they're tough to peg, but dropping two grades is a good rule of thumb.
