1996 Prestige Proof Set

Is the 96 Prestige Proof Set worth over $500? I've almost bought it now every hour for the last 5 days or so?

Is it worth it? Imho....no (I don't have it because I believed it was overpriced a few years ago as well)

Now, some others may say it is worth it....depends on the individual and what you want from the set.

The 1996 Prestige set never made any sense to me why it's risen so high in value.

But to each his own, as long as someone likes it at that price, it'll remain there.

Considering they are wholesale for $525 it would be a good buy. There are a lot of coins or sets that have high premiums, but the 1996 prestige is a low mintage with some tough coins in it, the rowing dollar is hard to find and the soccer half is harder.
