<< <i>I won the lot of 7 PSA graded 1948 Leaf Short prints. My invoice says shipping and handling is $1,000 (that's right one thousand dollars). They must have really well paid "handlers" >>
I bet the 7 card lot cost you $25, so it probably worked it's way out.

I don't know why I like the 1948 Leaf's. They're butt ugly for the most part with terrible registration, centering, etc. With this win, I am at 50% on the set. I think the main reason that I am enjoying it is that literally ANY grade will do for my set. The short prints are a pain to find in any grade so it's the closest thing to the kind of collecting I did as a kid (where every nitpicky aspect of the card isn't scrutinized). I am committed to finishing the set but I am not going crazy on win at all cost bidding thus far.
How's the wedding coming along?

Alan

My jitters didn't happen until a few years AFTER the wedding.
