I picked up this piece earlier today. The scan doesn't capture the overall toning very well.

1740 Austria 1/4 Thaler

I picked it up at about VF money, but aside from the small dig in front of the bust, I think it's a nice grade for the price.

    It appears to be a one year type, with a overdate variety, mintage at 42,000.

    I'm pretty pleased with it, but I have GOT to get some better imaging solutions.
