Neat coin and a very nice look. Are off-center Morgans rare? I've never seen one before. Great pickup...Mike

  • Nice. There was an article on a double struck Morgan in the GSA holder in this weeks coinworld.

Off-center Morgans are excessively rare... epecially those that are not dated 1921.
    When in doubt, don't.

I am not exactly sure how rare they are, but they do not come up for auction all that often. Does anyone know if there is a way to search error pops through pcgs. I am a member, but have been unable to find any error pops on their site.

  • They only track populations for coins that have a pcgs coin number. Like certain varieties.

Does NGC or any major error dealer track error pops?

  • Too cool!

    Great coin.

I have my eye on a nice uncirlculated off-center Morgan if the dealer still has it in a couple of weeks.

It will take me that long (or longer) to put the money together for the purchase.

    Again, great error Morgan.

That is very cool, and the coin has terrific eye appeal, also!
