Ad Copy for buying Gold, Silver and Coins

Hello everyone!

I noticed that a local jeweler has started advertising to purchase gold, silver, platinum, jewelry, dental gold, etc. I guess I am going to have to follow suit and start some local advertising.

What information do you think I should include in my ad? Anyone have any scans from there local paper that I could look at for some ideas?

Once I run the ad, I'll scan it so that everyone can view it.

Give it a try. It can't hurt. You may even get calls from people looking to buy coins. Also, be prepaed to get calls from people looking to sell you dateless buffalo nickels and bicentennial quarters.

I am planning on starting the ads.

I was looking for ad copy advice from everyone.

I was also looking for copies of ads that people have seen in their local paper.

Are you interested in the metals business or are you looking at it as people might be bringing coins to that jeweler?

If it were me, the ad would say something like "get my offer before you sell" and something in there about coins and such.

"buy, sell or trade" is always good copy.


Just something to get you started.

I buy bullion locally, but only through my yellow pages ad. I would like to buy more scrap gold, bullion and coins (obviously), and I don't want to lose business to my competitor.
