Where do I find accurate pricing on FB Roosies?

The only place I have found anything is the PCGS online priceguide.

Any other suggestions.

Also, who grades FT/FB harder, PCGS or NGC?

Thanks

Joe

NGC does full torch where both the horizontal bands and the vertical bands count, PCGS just does full bands where only the horizontal bands count. Not sure about a price list, but if you go to NGC and look up the registry points you get a good idea of which are common at what grade. For example, many seem to jump in points either at the 66FT level whereas some don't jump in points until the 67FT level. Probably before they jump in points they should be considered to be worth only a tiny bit more than a non-FT version of the same grade but the ones where a big jump in points is at are worth a larger premium.MrsSpud has a registry set of Roosevelts she is putting together and this is pretty much her criteria. She goes after the ones that have the jump in points and is happy if she can get it for 50% or less of what the PCGS price guide lists. She doesn't bother going after the ones that are low points. I hope this makes sense.

Check Heritage auction records for prices.

Most relevant pricing is usually archives of Heritage, Teletrade, etc. Check out what just sold 2 days ago in the Heritage CS Signature sale. Plus each listing will have up to five of the most recent prior sales in that venue also.

Just use the Heritage realized prices. Use the URL

    http://coins.heritageauctions.com/common/auction/lot_history.php?PCGSNo=

and put in the PCGS coin number at the end, for the coin WITH full bands. You can find the number by checking the PCGS price guide or the PCGS pop report or the PCGS Coin Number Lookup guide.
