It may not be your cup of tea, but, the oldest coin that I have found in a bank roll was a 1919-s Wheat penny. Surprisingly, I have found about 5 coins that were made before 1930-3 of the coins were 1919.

I found a 1905 british penny in a roll of halves I was searching. Before that the oldest I had found was a 1953 Franklin. I have also found a Un Peso and a Medio Balboa stuck in rolls.
A YN at our local club scored an 1866 seated half off a teller who just thought it was ugly (G-4, toned black with a few hits)! Later, we discovered it was a San Francisco!

Possibly the question should have been in the last X amount of years. I say that because when I was a kid, Things like Seated Dimes, Indian Cents, Liberty Head Nickels, etc. where the change of the day. I remember seeing so many things like that back then. I even saved some 0.20 cent pieces my Dad got as quarters. I almost filled a Whitman album with Liberty Head Nickels back then. If I only knew then what I know now.

Oldest I've found was a 1912 Cent in AG/G condition. It looked to be honest wear as well.
