My Verizon DSL took a dump last friday and slowed to a crawl (talking slower than dial up).
zillion hrs with tech on the phone and 4 hrs in my house while 2 techs threw darts (shocker) its fixed,wiring downtown,now thats a surprise !
Now the good news
talked to billing and biotched up a storm and got a 60.00 credit supposedly
The best part ?
i had 768 K service,billing says,i can upgrade ya to 3 meg service for free !
i says you didnt notify me of the upgrade ?
uh well no,costs to much to tell everybody !
I suggest if you have Verizon that ya call em and ask cause my DSL really hauls the mail now !

Several months later I see them advertising 3 meg service for the same price. I call and they moved me up to 3 meg service and said "sorry". No credit, no nothing. I have Charter now.
