Just got back from New Jersey.....

and have just realized how much this market lacks interst in the area of Princeton/ Trenton. I went to many coin shops in the area and got the same response, " Foreign?!? Get outa heehr!!!"
No really evryone was cordial, but I did get the same response of just not knowing the market. Each shop owner I spoke with wouldn't touch a foreign coin except for the ability to buy and dump it on a friend or other buyer. I find this interesting because whoever is getting these lots must be making a killing on the market.
Even though I was not able to actually see any high grade stuff, I was able to pick up some very nice unc. common stuff from various countries and for a very reasonable price. I even made out with a bunch of silver canadian and german stuff for .25 cents apiece.
I think definitely this is a great sector of the market that one can put a collection together for a reasonable price. I will keep buying and hopefully put an excellent collection of unc. stuff. -Dan
