Kevin Mench vs. Chris Shelton - Same people?

Considering Shelton's early season home run totals and Kevin Mench's current streak ... it got me thinking ... do these guys look alike or what? Maybe (insert Twilight's Zone music here) they are the same people?

Can anyone more technically adept than me post photos?

(Insert more eerie Twilight Zone music here)

Sorry, I do need a life.

  • Nah. Mench's head is twice the size of Sheltons.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

The symbiote that was inhabiting Kurt Warner's body is just looking for a new host, trying a few different people on for size.

Shelton and Kearns might be twins. They both look like the offspring of Sloth (Goonies reference).
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

Did you know that Sloth was played by John Matuszak, a former NFL player?

Yup. Matuszak lived hard, and died young. What a shame.

If we're voting for the biggest head on a baseball player, I'd go with Placido Polanco, even or Barry Bonds' enlarged melon! He looks a float in the Thanksgiving Day parade.

  • Didn't they attribute Matuszak's death to steroids, among other things?
