Leaving Springfield for Columbus in a few minutes. I hope to meet Rick Snow and look at a few proof IHCS. I will also take some raw coins and see if they are worth slabbing. Other than that, I want to rubberneck at some rare coins, talk to dealers, especially ANR. I used to deal with Dale Williams about 30 years ago....I sure hope he is there. Time to goooooo.....

Back from the show. No crowd at all since it was PNG day. Of course not many dealers either, but at least I could look all I wanted, got to do a lot of talking and had a good time. I got to meet Chris and Melissa Karstedt at the ANR table....two very nice ladies....they even called back to ANR so I could say hi to someone there.

I stopped at the Heritage table and told some of the youngsters about the afro that Steve Ivy used to sport. They got a hoot out of that. He wasn't there but they said they would be sure to remind him of it.

I ran into Dale Williams. I used to buy from Williams Gallery of Rare Coins back in Dayton about 30 yrs. ago. We had a nice time going over the old days.

I became a platinum member and submitted 5 coins.

It was just a fun day and it seemed I had the whole bourse floor to myself.

I will be going back tomorrow since everyone will be there.

I'm sooo jealous of all you guys that get to go to all those shows. Here in LA, there's a local show every now and then, but nothing like FUN and ANA and all those other good ones. I do appreciate the reports, however, to let me know what's going on.
