I was able to see Gordon play quite a bit my final year in college, he was a freshman. Before his Sr. year of high school he was considered a first round pick, but was hurt most of that year. A GREAT college hitter that has a great eye at the plate. Lots of guys are good college hitters, but he stuck out because when he toured with USA baseball using wood bats he was a stand out on that team too. I'm sure he's not playing for the Royals now because they would have to pay a bonus or something and they sure as heck won't do that! (see Ken Harvey)
