I really think that #1 met the scope of the task at hand. I see many votes for #9. I agree that this was a great photo, but did not meet the requirements of the contest. I thought #4 was a great idea, but there is so much open space the coin has to look so small to get the effect. It did remind me of an advertisement or something.

Very observant! In fact, the idea was taken from a Verizon Wireless ad but tweaked some. As some people noted, to achieve the effect the coin isn't going to be as notable on its own. The reason I still went with this design is that it's the presentation factor. I was concentrating on the whole look/feel and the half is at least life size.
I meant it wouldn't have worked well without further adjustments. I don't think you'd have been able to read the text of the label on my background as is. What I could have done was cut the label into strips, made the background transparent, reversed out the text, and put it along the bottom in one row with the background darkened a little. I'll have to try that when I get a chance.

For slab presentation....don't anyone take this personally, but none of them floats my boat....
I didn't vote.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
