Are these Lincolns Deep Cameo?

Got these from a sealed roll I bought from a pawn shop for $15. The ones I photographed have the most pronounced cameo on the obverses. There are alot of non-cameo Lincolns that had virtually no haze and look almsot perfect, but I don't know jack about proof Lincolns lol. I know this haze will come off because I took a crappy one from the bunch and swabbed it with acetone and the haze came off and left a yellowish color on the Q-Tip. I have more that have lighter cameos and the rest are non-cameo.

Are these deep cameos and are they worth anything or should I just keep them for the copper value? I imagine there a gazillion of these out there but I may be wrong.

Hard to tell from the photos, but they do not look dcam to me. One easy grading trick is to look at the frost between the pillars on the reverse. If it is not fully frosted - it is not going to get the dcam designation.

Don't look like it to me, but than again the pics are not the best.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Thanks Guys. The frost between the pillars on the reverse is what does it huh? Would you agree that at least two of them are heavily cameo on the obverses? Also, if one of these has a lighter cameo on the front but a strong cameo reverse, would that change things?

    Thanks!

You mentioned that you obtained them from a sealed roll at a pawn shop.

The mint didn't sell (nor did banks) rolls of PROOF cents, so someone took the time to cut open PROOF sets and place the cents into rolls.

Not that it makes any difference to the cameo question, just wanted to add the worthless piece of trivia

Lanlord you're right. The dealer I bought them from had them put away for over 10 years and they were sealed in an older square platic tube with tape. I might add that I bought some MS Lincoln rolls from him as well that were in a similar fashion and all were rolls gems, many even ultra-gem, so that's why I thought I'd check here as well.

The last thing he's holding for me is an OBW of 1954-S Jeffersons. If that roll is like the 57-D Lincoln OBW roll I got from him then there is a chance of a Full Step in there, big $$$. The roll is partially opened at the top like the 57-D Lincolns were and the 57-Ds looked all gems and I think the person used the roll as storage. He wants $50 bucks for it and based on the great finds from the other rolls I am going to risk this one as well!

Back to these proof Lincolns, are strong cameo obverseweak cameo reverse worth any premium to collectors. or should I just put these on the BST board or Ebay? The non-cameo proofs are really nice and I have 2 rolls of these but they are taking up space if they are not worth submitting.

Sorry to say, but based on the pics I don't see anyone even going cameo at PCGS.

To get the dcam designation at PCGS, you have to have a coin that exhibits dcam frost on both sides. In my experience, the reverses lose the dcam frost first - between the pillars. Perhaps that is the location on the die where the most amount of metal is moved during striking. Thus wearing the die the quickest in that area so the frost fades away.

Thanks for the info everyone. I'll just put them back in tubes and sell them on ebay then! I'm also open to offers from forum members if you want to PM me. I have 2 rolls, though one roll is a couple of proofs shy of full (the one I bought that was unsealed had less than 50 in them, the other is full and has all 50).
