    Don't be surprised if bidding reaches closer to $100. Problem-free cartwheels have seen strong prices recently, and this one is free of the more egregious contact marks often encountered.

    Looks like this coin goes for about $25 in Fine, $80 in VF and around $350 in EF.

    P.S. Did you notice the seller listed it in the Panama category??? image (I don't think Panama existed in 1797)!

    I think it's called a cartwheel because its size and mass reminds one of a cartwheel.

  • They are as a big cartwheel, the two pence wieghs over two ounces, not sure if this one is a 1P or 2P?

    Based on the images, I wouldn't go over a $100.00, especially with those images and not knowing which it is.
