Question for the Greysiders

What is the going price for a Canadian 1952 Mint set? It's in a capital holder and is a VERY NICE set?
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

There were no 'Mint Sets' in 1952. They started in 1954. So this has to be a made up set. A Specimen Set from 1952 is worth about $2000.

How do I tell if it's a speciman set? The coins look PL. BTW, I got the set, along with a few PL sets for $15 each.

    Send it to ICCS.

Most likely a Specimen set will be toned.

I agree with Don. The specimen coins came in satin and felt lined cases. I've never seen a pre-QEII specimen coin that does not have some toning.

Also the rims and letters should be razor sharp, if I recall correctly.
