I picked up a few upgrades for sets I'm working on. Seemed to be some decent deals to be had.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

A-dude...nice pick up on the Dryden. Definitely one of the more significant RC's in the sport. The owner of the Topps 10 was asking more than you paid for the opc. Awesome purchase.

If anyone won or knows who won the 68 or 71 hockey vending or the 71 hockey wax please let me know. I couldn't swing a high enough bid but would be a major buyer of psa 9-10 material from these two products. Especially high grade 71's to add to my registry set.

If you won these items or know who won them and do not want to speak up here please contact me through email or forward my email to the winner as a good source for recouping some of your/their expenses.

    Thanks, Bob C.

Golfcollector, That is some lot of golf cards. Is that what you call an instant collection? You may be the smartest collector on the boards today. I would imagine golf cards are pretty much ignored by 95% of card collectors. If there popularity even grabs 10% more collectors over the next 10 years you will be sitting on a pretty extensive collection, just from this auction. I figure w/o the buyers %, you stole them at $17 a card. I wish I could by Pre War Baseball at that price. Congrads on the pick up. Joe

    Joe, thanks for the note!

Actually I have most of these. I bought them to try and upgrade parts my own collection.

You can see my Copes set on this link that I currenly have on the set registry. This was one of the sets that was part of the deal, and I am hoping to upgrade a handful...

    Copes Golf Set

I made a huge purchase last year that led to many many high grade examples of some rare golf cards in my own collection. I bought the Copes set on the registry as well as all 3 - 1927 Churchman sets and a 1923 Copes set. I paid a little more for those 5 sets than I did for these 14. I am guessing the condition of these is overall not quite as nice as the 5 I purchased, but for the money, I can't go wrong.

I was stoked I picked up the lot for that price. I was expecting it to go.....and had a bid in .....that was MUCH higher.
