this is why I hesitate to sell ANY of the PSA8 and PSA9's anywhere other than Ebay!
  • Wow! That must be a really tough card. I know Don is very patient and I'm sure the Duke is too. I have a centered raw one that I was going to sell raw (because I think it will grade a 7 and I only send in cards that I think will grade 8 or better), but now after seeing that, I think I'll send it to PSA. I'll take 10% of that amount for mine!

    It's a 7. Lower right corner. chaz
  • A 7 Skowron is still worth grading, and i would never make a definitive statement of grade based on a scan so who knows may look like an 8 in person. I Looked thru my old SCD ads, and I sold a copy of that card in PSA 8 for $55 in 1996 Ouch. oh well cant hold on to everything.

SMR on an 8 is $65, so you probably got SMR back then.

  • I'm putting together that set in at least 7s.

Picked up a couple of commons in 8 for $26 delivered this week.

Those prices are wild, but hey some guys will pay to get the card.

At the moment I'm not ready to shell out that much cash, so I'll linger in the commons for awhile.

Looks like both Don and Carl all outed for that card.

The raw one pictured above could 8 as well. an 8 is allowed 1 soft corner no?

the 59 set is a very popular set btw.

that price does not astound me.
