I thought I would give these a try here before they hit ebay. I do not have any knowledge of Canadian prices besides the Charleton Standard Catalogue. Anyway I will describe them as best I can and I can email pictures (not a great camera, but okay) to anyone who is interested. I will take check or money order and I will pay the shipping and insurance costs.
PCGS#11193439 MS64 1938 Canadian 25C. This coin has some attractive golden toning over the entire obverse and reverse. There is a small black dot on the rear of the neck on the obverse as well some minor marks in the fields, partially obscured by the toning, the same applies for the cheek and hair, toning covers some minor hits. Very attractive to my eye. $350
PCGS#11193440 MS64 1948 Canadian 50C. This coin also has golden toning on the obverse and reverse. The toning gets darker until the edge where there is a very thin band of dak toning. The same applies for this coin as well as the quarter listed above the only difference being a fingerprint can be seen on the obverse when it is tipped in the light. Very low mintage on this one and not many graded higher. $550
PCGS#4557258 MS65 Old Green Holder 1949 Canadian $1. Dark mark through the G in Georgius on obverse. This dollar looks hazy when viewed head on but reveals golden toning when tilted in the light. Another nice coin. $90
PCGS#11193443 MS63 1946 Canadian $1. This would be prooflike if not for a few to many marks in the fields. Bright white and brillant. Numerous light marks on the face with one heavier mark on the cheek. Another high value coin in the Charleton. $315
PCGS#11193441 MS62 1949 Canadian 50C. Heavy marks on the forhead and behind the eye on this one. Fingerprint on the bottom of the obverse on the lower neck. This one looks like it has less marks than the 63 dollar up above with more eye appeal in my opinion. $90
PCGS#11193442 MS63 1945 Canadian 50C. Heavy bagmark on the cheek and some weird looking dark spots behind the ear on the obverse. Violet looking toning on the obverse from Georgius through VI and around the corrosponding rim on the reverse. $90
Some very nice coins from our neighbors to the north. International shipping can be negotiated. Thanks for looking. I will sell the lot for 10% less than the total above. $1,485 - $148.50 = $1,336.50. No interest yet so if you would like to make some offers, all will be considered.
I have also listed a PCGS MS61 gold quarter eagle on ebay. It is item #8410247565. It is a very nice 1/4 eagle for the grade in my untrained opinion, please check it out.Text
