If Steve Hart authenticates them, then I hope the answer is never, and I'll say that to his face. I don't have a problem with Steve or psa, but I do have a problem with Roger from 4 sharp corners...who has sold searched unopened material under his newenglandsportscards id...and two people have told me Steve and Roger are pretty good friends, maybe even business associates. Sorry, but I don't trust the friend of a large dealer/scammer to be objective, and I don't like the idea of said scammer having an "in" with a premier pack grading operation.

As Tony Reali would say "Inside information......"
Hey Steve... (Baseball Card Exchange).... we all know you read the boards!
Please post a detailed list of everyone you have spoken with in the last 15 years (inside or outside the hobby). What is your political affiliation? Could you give us an idea on how you stand on the current political hot topics? What kind of car do you drive? What is your favorite color?
This list will undoubtably determine whether or not I purchase anything from you.

There's a difference between buying from a dealer and trusting him as the sole third party authenticator of an entire grading division.
I'd probably buy from a dealer if he was friends with Gary Moser. That doesn't mean I would trust him as PSA's chief card grader. There's also an obvious conflict of interest when a dealer authenticates his own material, and it's not an exact science as evidenced by all the problems GAI has had from other "reputable" wax dealers.
Actually most of the big dealers are friends with Gary Moser or have been at one time or another. Just because they despise his business practices doesnt mean he is not a fun guy to go out to eat with after a show. Heck Gary and Dave Forman were tight as could be yet i have not heard a thing about Dave letting any of Gary or anyone elses bad stuff through SGC.

I am hardly a fan of 4SC, but in fairness, didn't those auctions by "newenglandsportscards" tell you exactly what you were getting? Opened vending boxes, stars removed, commons only? What else could you expect from that?
