Four words: "It's not my money".
He says their reprints in the auction description, for God's sake. A little shady? Yeah, I think so. But hell-- it's Ebay, not a church fundraiser. If you haven't learned caveat emptor on the 'bay yet it's high time you get acquainted with the concept. No better time than now!
I think it's funny on the Williams auction he says "Go Orioles!" So he's a theif and an idiot.

who might want to buy our expensive stuff a decade from now.
It is in our collective self-interest to help assure that as few folks as possible get turned-off to the
hobby/business by scamsters.
Never a shortage of these Orr RC
And another Orr RC 2
Same card for $6.95 buy it now
When one is sold, it simply needs to be listed as a "Reprint."
"Printed By Dover," is not a legitimate "disclaimer" and is
a violation of the spirit/letter of ebay regs. PayPal would
also likely reverse the payment on this kind of "scam."
Nobody on this board is likely to get burned by this kind of
operator, but that is not really the point. Each time a new
person gets burned, they lose interest in collecting/buying.
That hurts every collector/investor on this board.

Here here, and I woul dhave avoided buying Fake Brett Hull rookies. "x-mas" rack packs, and GEM graded 1955 topps (for crossovers of course)!

Very well done! We need to help out these newbies. It would be a different story if he knew it was a reprint and just wanted it, but apparently, he did not know what he was buying and the description was shady at best. Cards like this must be listed as reprints and not leave it ambiguous for misinterpretation.
The buyer is not paying, but is he going to get a neg for this? The seller is going to make him look like a non-paying bidder. I guess its better than being out $100 and turned off by the hobby.
